New year with Dermatomyositis

Wow, what a difference just a few months can make to someone's life. I have been battling issues since 2017 and was continuously blown off by my GP as it's only Arthritis but boy oh boy was he completely wrong! October 2018 I finally went to see a Rheumatologist and my world got flipped upside down. I did NOT have arthritis I have Dermatomyositis, which has NO cure. I knew all along that something was wrong but no one would listen to me until I met Dr Petrovic and she finally gave this a label. Not a label that I wanted nor my family as this will change my life, but I finally know after almost a year a half that I was NOT crazy and I can now put a name to what's wrong with me. Here is my journey.......
